The Last Mile of PQC Migration: From Cryptographic Inventory to Production Remediation
Post-quantum cryptography is moving rapidly from standardization into deployment, but for most enterprises the hardest part is not choosing an algorithm. It is understanding where cryptography is actually used, how applications depend on it, which systems should be migrated first, and how to verify that a remediation worked without breaking production. This talk focuses on the "last mile" of PQC migration: turning cryptographic discovery into an actionable and measurable migration program. Using lessons from real-world enterprise environments, we will examine how organizations can combine runtime telemetry, software and library inventory, protocol observations, application context, and dependency information to identify where cryptographic risk exists and where remediation should start.
