For twenty years, security hardware has shipped the same box with the same commands. That was never a shortage of ideas. It was a wall of capital and lock-in, and it just came down.
OpenDIY-with-AI, or OpenDaiY, means the gap between an idea and a working thing has closed, and this is the conference to walk through it. This talk comes at that from two directions. Code: the difference between source you're allowed to read and open code you can take, run and depend on, and why fully conformant, PQC-ready client code matters when conformance in name only has become anti-competitive lock-in. Hardware: how a team of a dozen now builds working post-quantum security hardware, including the tokens in your hands this week, in weeks rather than years, when it was impossible at any price only recently.
