Nikolas Gauder is a System Software Architecture Researcher and Doctoral Candidate at NVIDIA, pursuing his PhD in cooperation with the Technical University of Munich (TUM). His work spans systems, networking, and IT security, with his current research focusing on scalable infrastructure for large-scale AI systems. He became involved with the OpenSSL community in 2025 through a university project integrating QUIC into network measurement frameworks using OpenSSL. His work in this area explores the practical deployment of modern transport protocols and their interaction with cryptographic libraries.
