Open and Secure

***Open-source software*** lays down a very transparent community of developers and products. While allowing public access to the sensitive behind-the-scenes operation of a program sounds risky, open-source software actually has the potential to be even more secure than a program with hidden code. This talk explores the evolution of open-source from a security perspective and reviews how it has evolved over time. It emphasises on bursting the myths around cybersecurity and open-source software.
