Biography

Daniel Ashby has over 25 years of successful experience working in both large and startup environments, conceptualizing product, technology, and business models, building organizations, managing global sales and business development teams, and establishing key/strategic partnerships and accounts in the telecom and cybersecurity communities. Mr. Ashby has participated as a founder and/or executive team member in companies that ultimately were acquired by Oracle, Cisco, Blue Coat Systems, Akamai, as well as a successful IPO. Today, Mr. Ashby serves as CEO of NetSTAR, a global leader in OEM integrated solutions for URL categorization, web and SaaS app categorization, and threat intelligence. NetSTAR's technology is used by some of the industry's largest vendors and providers.
