The Křižík Scholarship — full-pass tickets for community contributors

The OpenSSL Foundation funds a limited number of full-pass scholarships for early-career contributors, students, and applicants from underrepresented regions. Includes ticket, accommodation, and a travel stipend. Applications open 15 January, close 31 May.

Do I need a visa to attend?

Schengen rules apply. We issue invitation letters on request once your registration is paid — turnaround under 72 hours.

Are tutorials included in my conference ticket?

No — tutorials are sold separately as an add-on (Monday 12 Oct, 30 seats per workshop). See §04 for workshops & pricing, or add one at checkout.

What language is the conference in?

English. All sessions, all signage, all hallway conversation defaults. Speakers come from 30+ countries and we hear it.

What's the code of conduct?

The OpenSSL community Code of Conduct applies on-site and online. Reports go to a confidential committee staffed independently of programme leads.

Is the venue accessible?

Diplomat Hotel Prague is fully step-free. We provide reserved seating, sign-language interpretation on request, and a quiet room for sensory regulation.

Will sessions be recorded?

Plenaries and most track sessions are recorded and published on the OpenSSL Conference YouTube channel within four weeks. Workshops are not recorded.

What if my plans change?

Conference ticket — refundable until 14 September (four weeks before the event), minus a 10% processing fee. Non-refundable after.
Hotel add-on — 50% refundable until 13 August. Non-refundable after.
Name substitutions — free any time up to the event. Both the ticket and the hotel transfer to your colleague, so if something comes up, someone from your team can take your place.
